Welcome to the Whaplode Parish Council
The Parish Council represents four Wards:
Saracens Head Ward
Whaplode Drove Ward
Whaplode St Catherine Ward
Whaplode Village Ward
The Parish Council comprises 13 volunteers who are elected, unpaid members - comprising the Chair, Vice-Chair and 11 members - who work for the benefit of the communities and all local residents. The Parish Council is fully accountable and subject to detailed audit.
The Clerk is also a volunteer but is a paid, part-time employee.
Meetings of the Whaplode Parish Council are held monthly, except during August, and are normally at 7.30pm on the first Thursday in each month. Currently meetings are being held remotely. Residents may attend full council meetings and can speak briefly on village matters at the commencement of the meeting in Parishioners Items.
